I ordered (and paid for) caviar from astrakhancaviar.com.They aknowledged my order with the following mail : "Hello, Dear Buyer! Thank you for your order. Your order : Osetra Caviar (113g, 4oz) & Beluga Caviar (113g, 4oz) & Royal Caviar (113g, 4oz) will be sent 09/December/2011 under the following address: xxxxxxxxxx"
When I received the items, on one of the jars was clearly written (in Russian) that it was "imitation"of caviar - perhaps mackerel eggs - which makes the whole thing a fraud.
(More than that: my wife could have risked her life because she has a very dangerous allergy to mackerel). Be advised, ye all!
(The box of caviar advertised on internet is on the right; the mock-caviar I received is on the left)
