Cedric Penn found me on facebook. He found out that I had an IPO go public. After that, he told me he wanted to marry me and that God told him I was his queen. He visited the town I lived in and pretty much gave me a sob story about it being his birthday and he had no one to celebrate with. I ended up taking this joker out to dinner, paying the bill and when he drove me home, he said , where will I stay. I was thinking, aren't you a freaking millionaire??? Anyhow, I let him stay on my couch and the next morning he quckly tried to get me to invest 5,000 in his marketing company, promising me it would prosper. I said I needed more details, and he could not provide that, so I said no. He dissapeared after that. I thank God I didn't give him my money! He is a real scam artist and tried to woo me out my money. What a jerk. That was scary. I thought he was trustworthy. Lesson learned. Steer Clear!

I have previously signed on with companies as a distributor under the Penn/Diamond Network organization downline and while I can understand the frustration and misinterpretation of people conveyed through this web sites posts; contradictory as they may be (this guy is a scam artist... he is a good guy...hide your money, etc.), everyone needs to understand as it relates to- in this instance, network marketing:

1. Whether you invest in a position under Cedric Penn or Joe Blow, you are making an investment into a company- let me repeat YOU ARE MAKING AN INVESTMENT INTO A COMPANY, NOT a distributor. You are investing into a company (a position) in order to legitimately sell, through a licensing agreement, using the company trademarks, patents and products.
The business module or structure is identical to Metro PCS, Clear, etc. and parallel to investing in a Starbucks, McDonalds Gold's Gym, ect. EXCEPT you do not have to come up with the minimum million dollar liquid investment to start.

2. No one can "steal" or "raid" your downline. EVERYONE makes a their own decision as to which company(ies) they want to invest their money in and with which teams they choose to position themselves(unless a gun or some other unwanted force is used- and I doubt that is the tactic Cedric Penn utilizes. In fact, I know the tactic he uses is a simple four letter word).

Who cares if he consults with one or one thousand companies per year. Why did YOU invest in the company that you are in? If you believe in the company and its products, go out and invest in a space and start sharing your business. As a result, your network (downline) too will grow!

I personally no longer do business with Penn or the Diamond Network, but I can honestly say that he does understand business and I have read his book. He is a former athlete, so naturally his mentality is set to numbers, stats and teamwork. Team Owners want Championship Teams. Jerry Buss wants a Championship Team, right? Cedric Penn is a Team (Company) Owner and I believe he wants a Championship (Company) Team. When you don't have the right players, trades take place, right? Perhaps sometimes this just gets lost in translation, perhaps sometimes he gets in his own way, perhaps people just don't listen, perhaps they just misunderstand. But, unless he's literally stolen your credit/atm cards or cash from your possession, he hasn't stolen money from you-- or destroyed your life!

If you want to be a successful business person, always be about your own business. Do your due diligence.

We have read up on this small town black man after we got burned by a get rich quick steal. We don't live in a world that u can trust what people sell you and in marketing you are always looking for that diamond of a lead. I would just stay clear of Cedric Penn and his products. In sales u win some you lose some. Don't get burned read up good before u buy. If it sounds to good it must be.
